
1) How aware are your learners of the differences between reading for pleasure, i.e. reading EXTENSIVELY in their everyday lives as opposed to reading on the IELTS exam?
2) Which QUESTION TYPES do your learners seem to be more familiar with already from their previous studies? Do they also like answering these more? (And are they actually good at answering them??)
3) Have you identified any ‘slow-but-accurate’ readers in your classroom? Or do you mostly have learners who answer fast but often without being able to justify their choices based on the text? How do you plan to help them become more aware of the importance of EVIDENCE-BASED answering?
