Are MATCHING TYPE QUESTIONS easy or difficult for your learners?

Here’s how to know.

1) How conscious are they of GRAMMATICAL and LEXICAL NEGATIONS and DOUBLE NEGATIVES?

2) Would you say they easily notice when the audio includes the PASSIVE VOICE but the questions are worded using the ACTIVE VOICE (or vice versa)?

3) How much do they know about the relationship between FORM and MEANING in language? (Are they aware that it is not always a one-to-one relationship?)

Which of the three questions was the most eye-opening for you?
