One of the many amazing sayings of the famous late #Enneagram Type 5 investor Charlie Munger is to always ‘know the edge of your own competency’.

I love the trademark #Type 5 objectivity behind this quote because it reminds us that

a, it is worth knowing ‘the truth’ (warts and all), possibly even at the expense of any temporary disappointments, etc.

and that

b, in life we should constantly proactively (!) seek out tools, relationships, etc. that help us discover our ‘unknown unknowns’.

In my opinion the #Enneagram is a perfect companion for this, as once you discover your Type based on a few core characteristics and start to learn more, you get

–a more detailed picture not only of your blind spots

but

–concrete suggestions as to what you can do to grow (=move towards your Connection Point to increase your Levels of Health within your Type).
